Materials
Fulling Mill 5125 Jig Force Short Barbless, size 10
Fulling Mill Slotted Tungsten, metallic light pink, 5.5mm
0.025 lead wire
Marabou: black, fluorescent melon (UV), and brown
Fulling Mill UV Streamer Straggle, UV brown olive
Whiting Specialty Bugger Saddle, olive grizzly
How to Tie the Brig's Minty Jig Streamer

Step 1
Mount the jig hook with the slotted tungsten bead and secure in the vise.

Step 2
Wrap several turns of lead wire behind the bead for additional weight. Cover with thread wraps and apply superglue.

Step 3
Tie in the three colors of marabou in layers at the bend: black first, then fluorescent melon, then brown on top, creating a tri-color tail.
Blend the marabou colors gradually — the color transition is what makes this tail so effective.

Tie in the UV Streamer Straggle at the bend and wrap it forward to form a buggy, flashy body.

Tie in the olive grizzly saddle hackle and make 3-4 wraps as a flowing collar behind the bead.
Use bugger-quality saddle hackle with long, flowing fibers for maximum movement.

Whip finish behind the bead, trim any excess materials, and apply head cement.
