Bunny Bullet Sculpin
A Troutbitten sculpin streamer pattern using rabbit strip for maximum movement and a bullet-shaped head for a jigging action. This effective bottom-bouncing streamer imitates sculpin and other bottom-dwelling baitfish that wild trout feed on aggressively.

Materials
Daiichi 2461, size 4
4mm tungsten black nickel (optional)
10 wraps of .025" lead wire on back half of shank
Olive Uni-Thread 8/0
Olive Danville Flat A 210 Denier
Veevus GSP 50D for deer hair spinning
Olive magnum rabbit strip, trimmed to triangle
Hareline Dubbin Olive (HD11)
5x tippet (clear monofilament)
Black Krystal Flash, sparse
Hareline Dubbin Red (HD20), a pinch
Olive deer body hair, spun and trimmed
How to Tie the Bunny Bullet Sculpin

Step 1
Secure the hook in the vise with optional tungsten bead. Add 10 wraps of .025" lead wire on the rear half of the shank. Cover with 210D olive thread.

Step 2
Switch to 8/0 olive thread. Tie in the olive rabbit strip at the bend, trimming the hide end to a triangle shape for the tail.

Step 3
Tie in 5x tippet for ribbing and a few strands of black Krystal Flash for sparse flash.

Step 4
Dub the body with olive Hareline Dubbin, building a slightly tapered profile forward.

Step 5
Pull the rabbit strip forward over the body and tie down at the midpoint. Wrap the mono rib forward to protect the strip.

Tie in a small pinch of red dubbing on the underside as gills.

Step 7
Switch to Veevus GSP 50D. Stack and spin olive deer body hair in multiple bunches to fill the front third of the shank for the sculpin head.
Pack each bunch tightly with a hair stacker tool.

Step 8
Whip finish. Remove from vise and trim the deer hair into a broad, flat bullet shape. Overall length should be about 2.5 inches.
