How to Tie the Euro Golden Stone

   Step 1

   Slide the slotted tungsten bead onto the jig hook and secure in the vise.

   Step 2

   Wrap several turns of lead-free wire behind the bead and push snugly into the bead. Apply a drop of superglue to secure.

   Mash the wire slightly flat to fit inside the slotted bead more securely.

   Step 3

   Start the yellow thread and wrap a smooth base to the bend.

   Cut two short pieces of barred pumpkin Sili Legs and tie them in at the bend as forked tails.

   Tie in the gold ultra wire for ribbing at the bend.

   Step 6

   Select 4-6 golden pheasant tail fibers, tie them in by their tips, and wrap them forward to form a segmented body.

   Step 7

   Counter-wrap the gold wire forward as ribbing to reinforce the pheasant tail body. Tie off and trim.

   Step 8

   Create a dubbing noodle with Australian possum dubbing and wrap a shaggy collar behind the bead.

   Whip finish behind the bead and apply Sally Hansen Hard-As-Nails for a durable head.
