How to Tie the Sex Dungeon

   Step 1

   Build the rear section first: mount the rear hook in the vise. Tie in a marabou tail with Flashabou at the bend.

   The rear section provides most of the fly's movement.

   Step 2

   Wrap Cactus Chenille or sparkle chenille forward on the rear hook to create the rear body. Tie off.

   Step 3

   Create the articulated connection: thread Beadalon wire through the rear hook eye, add a bead spacer, and form a loop.

   Step 4

   Mount the front hook in the vise. Secure the articulation loop at the rear of the front shank with tight thread wraps.

   Ensure the loop is secure but allows free swinging movement.

   Step 5

   Tie in additional marabou and flash at the junction point to blend the two sections.

   Step 6

   Spin and pack deer hair clumps on the front 2/3 of the front hook shank, working toward the eye.

   Use a hair stacker for even tips before spinning each clump.

   Step 7

   Remove fly from vise and trim the deer hair into a wide, flat sculpin head profile — flat bottom, tapered top.

   Leave some longer fibers at the collar for added movement.

   Apply head cement to all thread wraps, especially the articulation joint.
