Silver Bullet Baetis

Silver Bullet Baetis

Nymph
Mayfly
Intermediate
Rainbow Trout
Brown Trout
Hook: 16

Lance Egan designed this slim, quick sinking baetis nymph to sit alongside the Iron Lotus and Thread Frenchie. It stays closer to the drab coloring of aquatic insects, with the silver bead as the one bright note. He reaches for it when picky fish want a fly with no hotspot. Durable, with a clean outline, it can hang below a bushy dry fly or go on an indicator or euro rig. Tied here on a size 16 hook.
