Using the service

Fly Tying Inventory provides tools for managing fly tying materials, shopping lists, pattern discovery, Photo Identify, and community pattern sharing. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the information you add to the service.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or deceptive activity.
  • Do not upload malware, attempt to break security controls, scrape at abusive volume, or interfere with the service.
  • Do not submit content that infringes others' rights or contains private information you do not have permission to share.

Your content

You keep ownership of your inventory, notes, photos, patterns, and other content. You grant Fly Tying Inventory a limited license to host, process, display, back up, and transmit that content as needed to provide the service.

If you share a pattern publicly or submit it for community approval, you grant us permission to display that shared/community pattern, associated images, attribution, and metadata to other users and public visitors until it is removed or unpublished.

Affiliate links

The website may include affiliate links or affiliate tracking, including AvantLink. Affiliate tracking is disabled inside the native app.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that pattern matches, material identification, barcode results, AI outputs, availability, or data from third parties will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fly Tying Inventory will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the service.

Changes and termination

We may update the service or these terms from time to time. We may suspend or terminate access if an account violates these terms, creates risk, or is used to abuse the service.
